The way the record is kept

We put every selection we publish into the record, whether it wins or loses. Each one is a single point bet to win, taken at the starting price. For a winner at 3/1, we add 3 points, and for a loser, we subtract 1 point. If a non-runner has no replacement, it is void and costs nothing.

Results go in after each race, and once a race is settled nothing is changed. On day one of every month, the monthly total starts fresh. Earlier days stay on separate pages that carry their dates.
